It is sad to know that more than thirty years have passed and we still are dealing with the myths of HIV/AIDS.

There is no going back and no do over when you become HIV positive. Although transmission rates are down for the general population, unprotected sex with any partner is high risk.

It only takes one moment of risk to face a lifetime of dealing with HIV. I know because my son is HIV positve and all of his amazing accomplishments can't take away the fact that he must face HIV every day. My love and support is not enough to make this better for him.

Don't make the same mistake!

As long as having HIV is stigmatized, people will fear rejection and not disclose to partners. And, if they practice safe sex, and/or the positive person is healthy with an undetectable viral load (meaning they cannot transmit HIV), I'm okay with that.

It's a very hot issue. You may be interested in this video interview I just did about the topic. http://marksking.com/my-fabulous-disease/sex-while-hiv-positive-the-new-criminals/
