About Us

Hi, My name is Jeremy and I am the author of Storydigest.com.  A little bit about me… I am originally from a small town in North Carolina that no one has ever heard of.  I moved to New York City a few years after graduating from college and I have lived in this fabulous city ever since!

As a gay man, I think it is extremely important to do all we can to achieve equal rights in this country.  Even if you’re not an activist, everyone can do their part, whatever that might be.

I would like to think that Storydigest.com acts as a sort of support system for gays and lesbians, providing them with all sorts of information on issues ranging from gay rights and gay adoption to gay vacation destinations and gay dating tips.

I tried my best to be inclusive, listing information for lesbians as well as gay men.  Several posts were contributed by my fabulous lesbian partner-in-crime Janette.

When writing this blog site, I tried to be as open-minded and balanced as possible.  I had to do a bit of research for some of the political postings, and I can say I honestly that I learned quite a bit about the history of gay rights and the gay rights movement.  I encourage everyone to learn as much as they can about this subject, because even if you are not a homosexual struggling against prejudice in America, you will most likely still find it to be a fascinating and eye-opening history.
